Thread: VE harness, from GA16DE

We have GA16DE currently installed in my brother's B13.

Now that we've got this VE engine, but unfortunately the harness was cut.

I want to run first this engine in stock VE form, stock maf, ecu, etc.

Can you guys help me out on the wirings? I want to use the GA16DE harness but i will use the SR20VE ecu, and everything in stock....

This could end up being a HUGE pain in the arse

It would be so much easier just to find a VE harness or get a DE harness and swap the needed plugs. DE ones should be cheap and plentiful

from what i remember you cant use a ve ecu and nne a sr20de harness. i think if u use ga16 harness have to extend etc.

I think the pinout is a little different between the two ecus. like the ac and something else

actually its a bragging rights if i manage to do this, but guys, i need your help. i know i will repin some of the wires going to ECU and also extend some wires to reach like iacv and aacv.

do some guys has an FSM for VE in english?

Just run it like a normal de. on my ga I'm running a sr ecu and maf with no issues.bu t honestly id just get the correct harness seeing as you just spent 900 on an engine..

well i have a sr20de ecu [re-programmed] connected to my ve loom/connector, so why cant a ve ecu be used on a de loom?

iirc the pin-outs/connection are similar expect for a few missing pins in the de ecu
