Thread: ve and intake manifold/tb

I was thinking about getting a little better intake mani and tb for my ve. was thinking of picking up sr16ve n1 mani and was told if you port 1/8" and put on a 70mm tb you will see some hp gains. cant afford those really expensive mani that are custom made right now. thoughts, ideas, brands etc thanks

Don't do it, waste of money. Bang for the buck, run a 100 shot and be done with it.

Just do a bigger tb for now.. port match the intake

Port and polish stock manifold and bore stock TB to 66mm. This is low budget mod that works.
