It's a different color wire between the b13 and 14? Mine is on the orange wire, b14

yea i think so... b13 an early p10 seem to be blue with black stripe.

It was wired into blue and black wire and i don't think vvl was working. Tach works and both solenoids click when i apply power and ground.

How do you check if they click? applying power to what ground exactly?

it doesnt matter which post is + or -
the msd should have some sorta of light or something that comes on when desired rpm is reached.

I don't think it does its the cheap 8950 not the one with the readout on it
