Thread: confused on rpm switch install

So i look up an ecu pin out and it shows pin 2 is rpm signal. But everyone on here says pin 3 and I've heard pin 3 is blue with black wire and my pin 2 is blue with black so i tried it and vvl does not kick in. Pin 3 on my harness is yellow with red should I try it or is pin 2 the right one?

Its a 91 but its not a factory harness. Car was swapped from a ga16 to sr20 when i got it and I got a new harness when i did the swap cause the wiring was hacked up. Not sure what year the harness is from but its b13.

can you take some really good pics of the plug(s) for me? did those injectors come yet or are u on the de ones?
