his build ended off with itbs, doing 330whp running a 11.3 in a FULL WEIGHT interior ek hatch.
something a sr2x na will never ever do.
10k in a sr24ve will get you 275k if your lucky. all custom shoddy workmanship imho. ticking time bomb. how many of them have blown up ? more then that are running currently. you;'d be better off spending 10k on a sr20det/vet.
the thing more people need to acknowledge, is the sr20 needs to be sleeved and stroked, this effects the rigidity of the block, the cooling properties, and the reliability. it runs hotter coolant temps, wich fluctuate much more and over heats in traffic, the oil temps also do the same thing. nothing is off the shelf, and nothing is 100%proven, nor will it ever be with only 4 motors running.
so people are trying to compare a SLEEVED AND STROKED MOTOR to a motor with just a piston, theres no comparison, its an unfair comparison.
sleeve and stroke the k24 out to a k26 or k27 and then compare a sleeved stroked motor to a sleeved stroked motor.
there are k motors laying down 400whp n/a !
but what do i know, im just talking out my brainless ass
stratton.
