Thread: SR20VE vs. K20A

You know what is sort of cool about the SR20VE, now in 2012 - is the way the aftermarket parts are slowly developing now but now catching on a lot more.

It really reminds me of the parts options for the SR20DE back in the day. Back in say, 1999, you had only a couple options for bolt ons, Hotshot headers (which at the time were like $400! ), JWT street grind cams, a few random cold air intakes, pulleys and the JWT ECU. I hope the VE parts start really coming a long.

Unfortunately for us, almost everything will be custom. Its the sad truth.

K's will always be superior. We can only build as much as our budgets allow. If I didn't love my sentra, I wouldn't be in this game. I would be in the V8 world with a 90mm turbo bolted to my LS motor, lol.

lol im so sick of hearing about k series,H2b is better imo,my friend just ran a 11.7 on a complete stock h2b in a eg bubble ,for half of what a k motor cost hahah stratton have fun spending 2k for K pro ,k series is just a waste of money unless u want the baller status
edit: you know what ima take it back,Stratton im not tryin to point you out or get this stuff started again as i fapped to your nx lol, but ask yourself what about the the frankenstein g23 vtec making 250whp on all stock engine parts,lets see a k series do that,for those who don't know what im talking about its a its a f23 block with a h22a head with k20 pistons

btw, my 2.4 ve is running JUST FINE.

Had a chance of driving an EF with K20, and i am totaly amaze... i really want to know to beat it....

not a lot of K swaps here in the country, folks are still playing with B series ans SOHC motors NA or Turbo..Drag racing has been Honda Cup

but NIssan community here is strong, we dont care if the Honda crowd is bigger or their motors make more power...what matters is for the LOVE of your own

so I salute all who are doing the R&D for the VE and working with companies to make parts for us.
