My opinion for a set of " ideal header " will be base on these factor
1) smooth radius of bending from head and going down to oil pan , 3 step sizes ( 1.63 --> 1.75 --> 1.88 )
2) Collector with merge angle of 15 Degree and output size of 2.5"
3) Total length front head to collector around 23 - 25"
4) A long transition to expand the collector's 2.5" to 3" down pipe..free flow resonator and a free flow muffle ..

Whole package will cost me an arm and leg in my country .. will do it when i got more $$ to spend :P

The thermostat usually gets removed, or heavily gutted when running an electric water pump. At the least, tons of holes are drilled into the thermostat. People do different things based on their needs. I've never heard of one installed without a good bit of water allowed to by-pass the thermostat.

Now before anyone else jumps on my back about whole 3" deal. Yes there is power to be gained going 3", will you see that gain on a non-tuned setup though, probably not so much. All I meant to say is, header will yield you more gain and your money is better spent on the flywheel and staying with 2.5" exhaust.

Yes thats what i want to do, i have found a place here where they have the bends for headers but now i dont know what size to use... 1.75" or 2"? i can do that modd here and im sure that i will get some gains.

Thanks btw, i have been looking for those threats for some time now... haha

2" secondaries on SSAC manifold and 3" exhaust. Add Fidanza flywheel and keep pulleys (except oversized water pulley) and XTD flywheel far away from you.
