The alternator pulley can not be worth it. That thing is so small to begin with, it could only save you a couple grams at most to go with aluminum. The power steering pulley may be worth a tiny bit... Maybe. But that's a big no on the alternator pulley, unless you want them all to match.

Nope, electric water pump can actually help. What it can do is, by altering the flow rates you can change how quickly it heats up. Which is important for quickly warming the car up and gas mileage.



You don't have to rev high to do damage. I personally only reved to 7500 and after 7k it didn't feel right. Well installed stock crank pulley and car feels a lot better. Virtual dyno graph showed I gained a few ponies too.

I think i will go with this one, so using a Electric Water Pump do worth it? its because i have readed that it have so much flow that the car was not able to heat up at idle and gas mileage became far from good. Is that right? I think it would be a nice upgrade!

The electric water pump is only as good as its controller. Leave it on all the time, you'll struggle to warm up. Have it turned on only when needed, and you should be golden.

and will have an overall better effect than some silly lightened pullies... dont fall for gimmicks! pullies are exactly that!

flywheel and water pump... lose powersteering and ac if you want to get radical...

I would not invest into the water pump, tuning becomes unstable. You can buy those aluminum a/c brackets that Andreas sells. That some weight off.
We had a stock Vvl with a Gspec pulley for 6 years revving to 8400-8600 Rpms and when I tore the motor apart to swap out pistons the bearings looked great.
The xtd flywheel you ordered may actually be a 12.6pounder not the 11.
You can try to see if miko has the aluminum power steering bracket instead of the cast heavy one.
My car back in 05-06 Making 194whp(non n1 sr16 cams) was running 13.8-13.9 at 100and one pass of 102mph and I had full interior Ac/ps/cc and street tires averaging 2.2-2.3 60ft times.
Sound deadener delete and jdm bumpers.

The purpose of the pulleys is not just weight but it slows down the water pump and in return will net you less water friction. Slows the alternator.slowing down the accessories reduce the effort the motor needs to move them in the first place.
But for 250.00 do not buy the other 2 pullies.

I will stay with the pulleys(Crank and WP and the XTD flywheel for now later i will see if i need to buy a electric water pump with the controller and lightweight more stuff... the issue is that here in my country, they are getting strict with the sound of the cars so i have to stay with my 2.5" muffler instead of a 3" so i have to get whp from other things...

Like Ben said it's as good as the controller. OEM water pump runs all of the time, I would run an electric one and keep it completely off until 150*F or so. That way it would heat up the car faster (in theory).



Going from 2.5" to 3" doesn't always get you more power, your header design will matter more at power gain. It's all about exhaust velocity not size, if you go too big you start loosing power because the exhaust gasses will cool down and create back pressure.

Keep in mind that VE cranks are 4 counterweight, they are not as internally balanced as the DE 8 counterweights. This is why VE's are pickier on crank pulleys. I went back to stock crank pulley and haven't looked back. I do still have the Gspec WP pulley though to avoid cavitation.
