^LOL!

My sr16 piston VE went 13.3 @ 107 with a stock trans and intake manifold. I think with my 4.7 final it would have went mid 12's with ease. Had a horrible launch. Went to back it up with a 12 second pass and it sprung a coolant leak.

[php][/php]Stock internal ve w just my custom header and n1 cams went 13.2@104 , added the intake manifold and traps went up to 108s....

Does anyone run cold air intake setups in the VE's? I haven't seen many. I just installed mine Took it for a brief spin, still fast as fk. I mean, I drive my I/H/E/ECU B14 DE almost daily, and the difference is so ridiculous it's hard to believe

My VE liked the short ram better. I always was iffy about cold air intakes plus I don't run air filters, lol.

I just took a video of the tach (albeit shaky) of the VE from 1st gear to 3rd gear at WOT. I think my rev-limiter is set too low considering the N1 cams and springs. Posting in a few.

Here's a few pics of the CAI i just created. The car is so quick already I have no idea if it made a difference, only a dyno could tell. But the CAI makes a few HP on the DE so could assume it should here as well, with the location of the filter and the increased length of the piping:





The filter is just out of the photo a couple inches down.

And here's one of the top of the filter but from looking into the engine bay if you were standing on the driver's side of the car, leaning over the front fender:

Ok and here's a photobucket link to the vid just took, 1st to 3rd gear pull towards redline. Quality is kinda poor and shaky as it was taken with a crappy iphone, but I think the rev limiter should be raised, I hit it in 1st gear:

This is what I'm searching for atm...currently have the lowport DE intake tube and DE MAF. I'm assuming that's costing me a few hp? Any idea how much?
