After some fine tuning and fuel pump change (Thanks Rob) I baselined my custom header again and tested it against a Custom one made by a well know Honda fabricator. His header definitely worked.

After fine tuning I still could not break the 300whp mark.

Looking into bumping the compression and having a larger cam made. 315-320whp is well within reach.

You would of broke the 300whp mark if you would of leaned it out after 8100.

I've noticed the same on N1 cams, anything post 7500 liked 13 or so. I take it it's because it can't flow enough air, and the extra fuel is robbing power.

No. Not the case with the larger bore. Especially this motor.

These graphs were back to back, no tuning. Even after tuning they like to sit between 12.1-12.3 AFR.

Bottom line is everyone states that they like to run lean up top, but not many run ITB with open trumpets. Kinda hard to give tuning advice when you don't have a setup close enough to compare to.

IJS.
