Custom Header Test's
Finally got a chance to test the 2.0-2.2L TurboFreak (Charles- Blue Plot) header vs. My Custom 4-1 (purple plot)

After some fine tuning and fuel pump change (Thanks Rob) I baselined my custom header again and tested it against a Custom one made by a well know Honda fabricator. His header definitely worked.

After fine tuning I still could not break the 300whp mark.

Looking into bumping the compression and having a larger cam made. 315-320whp is well within reach.

Right after that just put a built VQ in there and forget about a 2.4. Gaurantee youll hit that 10 sec mark, with alot more torque

That would be too easy. Have to remember the added weight from the VQ.

Track Saturday morning. Need more seat time. Hoping for a 119-120 trap.

Good job Jamie. The car is a beast that is for sure. It would have been fun if you and Cory could have gone heads up at the Convention. It definitely would have been a sick race. You two are neck and neck as far as 2.4's go. Keep up the good work. Go hit up a good track now and hit those low 11's for sure.

Thanks man. Cory and I talked throughout the weekend, we both agreed it would have been epic to line up against each other.

He will have his car at the track shortly. I hope he reaches that 120mph mark.

Once these Par gear sets are put together, Rocco and I can really dig deep into the low 11's and maybe high 10's as we are not even at peak power crossing the traps in 4th. With the added WHP from the straight cut gears, we should have no problem.

No, his definitely beat mine in the upper RPM's, which was expected.

My header was on the long side, made great power in the mid-range. About 20whp over the Freak header but 10whp less than the new drag header.

I thought so, but just wanted to check.

Great unbiased information! You can argue with such unbiased figures!
