First 1,200 miles in the SR20VE thoughts
Up until last week I had never even driven a SR20VE powered Nissan., I was modifying B13 and B14's back when both Twin Towers stood, Bill Clinton was President, and many of you had not yet even heard of "American Idol."
Back then, the SR20VE was kind of like a Unicorn. Hard to track down and difficult to understand.

Anyways, I just drove a total of 1,120 miles across the country to make the 2012 SR20 convention, and besides our CD player crapping out it ran FANTASTIC. Feels like if you took a standard 200sx SE-R with the usual bolt-ons and added a 50 shot.
I own both a 97 B14 with the DE, and a 92 B13 with the VE, I can tell you right now, unless you are going turbo, get the VE somehow. SR20VE *is* worth the hype, for sure. If you're happy with your DE, thats fine. But if you have the resources, go for it. The thing just moves.

Don't forget to locktight the throttle body screws. Or use the de throttle body.

^X3. Ran a DE throttle body for 3 years on my VE with no issues. I would double check them man.
