the coolant hose tapers at one end, that's why the adapter is necessary. But to answer Big Ben's question, it's the heater hose on the driver's side of the motor. The other hose is a straight shot to the firewall and no adapter is needed.

Where did you order your VE and how much was it shipped? I am seriously looking into one for my P10

P11's are same size as VE. Guess they enlarged it with RR's.

hello 12's depending on weight of the car.

stratton.

Emphasis on a good header if you plan on running N1 cams. With SSAC header the difference between 20ve and N1 cams was fairly negligible. I actually trapped better 0-60 times with 20ve cams.

SSAC merge collector sucks, and N1 cams have a ton of overlap thus they are more sensitive to back pressure/poor exhaust velocity.

Hope it's not that bad. I have N1's on order and running the ebay header. I guess we'll see what happens with a bit of tuning.

Got it from Soko, I bought it off of ebay through their store front. It was $980 shipped. I figure I will have around 2k wrapped up into the swap when all is said and done. I have most of the major parts ordered so now its down to all the little stuff like fluids and what not.

Yea I should have bought one 2 years ago. I have been dicking around with a turbo car for almost 2 years. Too many headaches and BS. I want to drive and enjoy my car.

Well my G20 is my daily that I want to VE then I have my b13 that's under construction that's my drug to take care of my boost addictions.

What is your current daily? As an experienced VE owner, I vote anything VE with bolt ons should be daily driven. I love it. Even untuned, with n1 cams, 3" exhaust, decent header and proper intake it pulls nicee. This is in a B15.

IMO, keep the b14 as the turbo project as it is lighter or VE the B14 and acquire a B13 for boost. Again, I'm not sure what your other vehicles are, just speaking from personal experience.
