How to trick the ecu?
I am a newbe frome norway with a few questions.
I have a nissan primera p11(g20) with the sr20de engine and manuel transmission.
I am thinking about bying me a sr20ve that is complet with ecu.The engine also come with the cvt gearbox but i had planed to use my old manuel gearbox.Someone told me that if i wantet to use my manuel gearbox i had to trick the ecu to belive i still used the cvt.Does anyone her now how i do that?

there is a guy locally here in australia that is running the CVT SR20VE ecu in his manual N14 with no problems.

My previously SR20DE powered Primera ran a standard VE ECU for a several months after the transplant with no problems.

The pinouts are identical with the exception of the solenoid wires so you just need to take the single power wire from the solenoids & connect it to a power source from ignition & then plug the 2 earth wires into the correct pinouts on the ECU plug & you're away.

yep, ran mine for a few weekss with the auto ecu with no issue
