Thread: Sr20Ve B14

Hey I know its probably all over The Dash and all, I'm having a hard time tracking the needed info. If you have come across then please post link. But I would greatly appreciate the info and help. I'm trying to do a full 20Ve swap into my B14. I have the full up and running SR20VE head with a B14 5 speed Trans. I just bought a 20V ECU on here, I am going to get the Spec-V 6 speed in it. What do i need for a full 02 sentra spec v swap? Is the 20V an OBD2 or is a JDM adapter needed. Newbie at this swap...Thanks Everyone in advance.

Also can I run a vvl and b14 tranny with a 20v ECU

So im confused...this going into a b14....or a b15, because you say full spec v swap, but up abouve b14...? Or you want to drop the sr20ve in the b14 and do the spec v tranny hydralic swap? I can give pointes on the swap into a b14, but not the tranny.

So I have a B14 200sx with a Sr20ve engine in it...but I want to do a full spec-v swap into the 200sx. I have the Neo VVL head with MSD RPM Switch and a 20V ECU. What else is needed?

full spec v swap...the ve wasnt in the spec v, you can do a hydralic transmission setup, ?

???????????????????? Im either high on pills and brain isnt processing right or what, because this is confusing.

All you have to do is drop a sr20ve in a b14, connect and change some wires, put in a tuned ecu, nistune, calum, nistronic, or a pre tuned ecu like jwt. A ve ecu u wont work because its meant for a automatic. Hook up a msd switch to ur set vvl kick in point, and there you go.

Oh man Typo damn T9 auto text lol yeah spec-v tranny swap I mean. Is the 20V ECU automatic?

20v is different than the ve, theirs the sr20ve and the other sr20ve that had more hp, so dont think the ecu would work to well with the other motor. I may be wrong though.
