so youre using a stock 2 litre ecu on an n1??? y??

either try and get yourself an n1 ecu, n daughterboard/chip it then tune from there, or be prepared to get a standalone and spend lots of time/money on tuning and dyno time

What is the history with this car, did you just buy it? What is the setup exactly?

JER, what history etc. are you talking about???

The JDM SR20VE ECU has a rev limiter at 7100 RPM !!!!!! It is obvious that it will fall on its face!

N1 ECUs opened the exhaust cam somewhere near 7000!

Is it a real N1, or just an sr16ve or sr20ve? That's the information I was looking for. It looked like it had a higher redline than 7100 in the vid, maybe I'm mistaken

I did not see the vid at all! Just went by his statement on SR20VE ECU.

yes its a real N1 i just added some pics on the members ride section . i got the car with a sr20ve ecu which i had to go through a mission and a half to find out what ecu it had car the numbers were scratched off ... from what the previous owner told me it has a jdm harness with the jdm ecu ... he told me it didnt have a n1 ecu cause he couldnt find one ... the car runs good but falls on its face when vvl hits i have the pill set to 5500 rpm to activate , the fuel cut hits at 8000 rpm ... since i moved to texas i noticed a change in performance dont know if its cause altitude difference from miami to here buts its better but still doesnt feel like 200 hp ... any info u guys have can really help me out ... i want my car to be 100 percent but dont wanna spend mad money trying things without hard evidence ... u feel me ? i spend enough on the car to be 100 percent but its wasnt ... my boy hks p10 danny killed me when i raced him if u know him u know what he has ... its a 2.0 vvl thats all im going to tell dont want his **** missing cause i talked to much lol thanks for the help guys .. oh yeah the block has 1n5 stamped all over it

I would suggest you try contacting bazza1600 in this forum.

AFAIK, he is the only one here with serious experience on N1s (he actually has a couple of those) and he has certainly been there before!

One thing that may be the root of your problems is the fact that N1s have 8 injectors. I assume that their ECUs also have hardware (drivers) for 8 injectors, whereas the other VE ECUs only have four of them. It is very possible that the 4 extra injectors never get fired with your SR20VE ECU and the car dies when it most need the extra fuel.
