lol, i do.. just that my tranny failed me while i was Tanner Fousting and thats NO GOOD, cuz i don't have a rev limiter..

Do a compression test and you'll find out

oh please no don't scare me..! Car Revs and sounds fine..

I redliMe mine @ 8k in first, 7.8 2nd and 7.5k in third. VE head on a DE block.

If it makes you feel better,I bet your factory tach is off by around 500(reads high) at those RPM in most cases,so you MIGHT get lucky.
does the motor run ok still?

Keep away from over 8K. I used to send my bone stock VE with upgraded valve springs but stock cams to 8500. Not that it was making power, I just didn't care lol. It sometimes worked to my advantage due to our shitty long gearing. Get some N1 cams.

Probably not directed towards me, but actually my tach is on point. Tried it out on the dyno, my speedo is off though. Most likely due to tire size.

But yeah anything over 7.6k is justmaking mostly noise.

Yeah,it was directed at the OP,but I am surprised to hear yours is accurate.
I only compared mine in the past to an mss and msd,no dyno.

stock ve shift at 8k. springs and retainers and n1's shift at 9k. built ve shift at 10k .
