The question is about passing OBDII emission on and engine swap either it be VE or DET. Unless there's a different way to pass a plug in inspection between the engine types, I would agree with general

The admins on this server haven't been working their ass off to clean it up for no fucking reason.

Maybe I need to get one of them to deal with your smart ass?

I help people all the time, then we get dick bags like you who think we fucking owe them something just because you got an SR?

I've seen plenty of guys like you come and go, and I'm still here.

The reason I say this is the wrong section is because you have a VE, if you hd a DET i'd say post there. Because it sometimes takes different steps or methods to get different engines to pass emissions..

The highport DET can be fitted with an EGR manifold to help pass emissions if need be, the VE cant.

Don't you think its smart to post in the section that would be most likely to offer help or advice? You even put VE in the damn title.. LOL

Calm down killa. No need to get that aggravated on both parts. Again, if it was 95 and older, I would completely agree with you because there's no need to plug into your OBDII port for emissions reading. It would have been an idle test or dyno roll (Whatever they do now). However on the OBDII inspections you need to plug the inspection machine into the OBDII port and the computer verifies everything else

This thread belongs in the VVL section and has been moved there.
Let's get back to solving the OP's problem please.

I've passed twice in my B14 here in Cali and mine is tuned for power with bigger injectors. I will be smogging my P10 in the next 3 weeks.

I know this stuff was mentioned to you before in your swap thread.

i think this gentlemen covered it really well.
