I do have a N60 maf and a 3" short ram intake, I might start of doing that.

I'm actually looking for somebody to modify a Tri Y header, I hopre that could really get me into 13.6 at least

N2O is always an option but I like the fact of being purely N/A but who knows, if a basic 50hp shot is reliable enough that could be an option, I guess a couple of mods to the ECU and BKR7E plugs at least, that would take me from 13.9 to 13.3 right?

BTW, this tranny is just ok for me, crossing the line almost at redline in 3rd

I've read that removing the rear bumper would help with the drag too
Thnx

I know you'll need springs, but is the Kelford v3 a plug in play like the n1 or do you have to get new shims and cam gear?

The 4.78FD alone will make a lot of difference in the response and rev speed of my car.
I really liked how it felt on my DE, but since my car was a DD and I was Highway cruise everyday, it was not up for that, but performance wise it is really good, I would rather go that route than the 16VE tranny...

Yes, shimming is required with the Kelfords. I didn't but I ended up overrevving it with no rev limiter at 9K and broke a rocker arm. Valve springs and a shim job would be wise.

i have a n15 (same weight as Kevo's b14) and making 195whp. Car has in sr16ve tranny

i cross the line @ less than 7000rpm in 4th on 22". not good enough

better you use a sr20 tranny and cross the line say 8000 or so rpm if you are making 190-200whp in that weight car

otherwise drop in a 4.7 fd in your tranny and hopefully cross the line in higher rpm than under 7k in 4th. that though will affect your hw driving and mpg

i plan to go 23" which will probably let me finish @ 8900rpm in 3rd with my 16ve box. still not ideal but would be better than what i have now

peace

That FD sounds like a good idea

I meant the N/A game is a really FUNNY experience, I do enjoy the sleeper status

But according to my trap speed (103MPH) with the proper traction I shoulbe in mid 13's right?
