VE is going to cost you a lot less gas in normal driving conditions. Also the way its power comes on it will break less stock transmissions.

Personally I would not mess w a T25. I really liked my T28 setup and I would like to build another one soon but I really like daily driving the VE better.

A good running stock cam ve should trap over 100, if not thats pretty sad being my jdm DE in a full weight, 91, sunroof, abs, and so on se-r with full bolt ons and s3 cams still on a stock ecu went 97mph in the 1/4 and that was with 155whp.

My ve had short ram intake, ssac 2 1/2" header running open, aluminum crank and water pump pulley, fidanza flywheel and calum basic would have gone over 100 in the 1/4 easily no questions asked. I know this because i ran beat people that trapped 100 in the 1/4. lol.

Either way i have proof a simple t25 will walk a basic bolt on VE. It doesnt take much thats for sure.

Well I'm just saying what I know. My stock cam ve made 180whp and it ran 13.5@100. Once I got a custom header and n1 cams it was running 104mph and then w the custom intake mani it got up to 106-7mph... I don't think a bone stock ve is going to run almost 110. It won't happen. But a bone stock untuned tmic stock boost t25 de will run almost 110mph. And that's all in the same shell, same track so its a ver very good comparison..

A Bone stock VE in a full weight SE-R will not trap a 100 mph.

People misinterpret "stock"

what about a typical run-of-the-mill NOS kit on a QR25 swapped into a B13?

They didnt get tired, the VE head design is way better, and has the ability to rev way higher.... This

B18B/A Honda motor non vtec vs B18C/B16 Vtec

Better head design, flows more, and ability to run more of a crazy cam and still have the nice idle of the low lobes when down low and be a beast up top.

You guys are right. I would say the T25 should own a basic VE. I owned both and I know my T25 ran hard. The key word is should. A lot of cars should do certain things, but it all comes down to the certain car/driver.

I am with Cory on the auto-x part though. I feel like the T25 would have wheelspin issues coming out of tight corners where a VE would hook and go. It all depends man. At the end of the day, we'll be beating a dead horse.
