How about you take the best of both worlds you take a ve with a t28 kit and it's lights out.
While that graph that Chris car posted was very nice on a close friend of mine 200sx stock ve with sr16ve cams ,nismo 740's , n62 maf,and stock t28 with a marsh tune the car made 288hp and 280tq that's pump gas and conservative timing

Yeah, brake boosting does wonders. 2nd gear roll would be fine, lol. Or is 40mph too much for you n/a guys to start off with. Most n/a guys i know like to race from about a 15 roll 1st gear.

But personally for me if I was building a street na car it would be a kelford cam high comp ve with a little spray if I ever got worried.

tit for tat no brake boosting a VE car will wallop a t25 car to 100 no problem. Fairly confident even on 12lbs. Not sure why this is but it is. Brake boosting? forget about it though.

Brake boosting a t25 car surprised a many people within the 275 loop on the private roads that I used to visit It's like a slingshot! But after like 100mph you better put on your hazards lol

I would be perfectly fine with 40mph. Shouldn't be a problem. We can do a normal run and then back it up with a top speed run so you can feel good that you beat an all motor car after 150.

Like I mentioned I want that crazy out of control car. So for once I guess Ashton and I agree on something (world may end soon) but, with that said if I was building a car to race on the sheets with m ore track use I would enjoy a NA car with some drugs a lot more due to being able to put the power down easier. My car is not a race car by any means. Just a clean street cruiser that will be pushed when I want a smile on my face. Other than that elbow out the window, Bob Marley playing on the radio and smelling the race gas while rolling at 35mph with a a bad ass sounding motor under the hood.

Priceless/

This is the next turbo car I will build.

500-550whp super clean street monster like yours.

Umm again i posted a video showing otherwise. An n1 cam VE car will beat a t25 car. But stock cam VE vs stock cam DE+T, the det will win. I have proof of this. Barely but it will win. There is no lag on a t25 car, you punch it and it goes just as jumpy as an n/a VE. My buddies nx proved this. Search Sentra VVL vs Turbo NX2000 under ashtonsser on youtube and you will see what happens

Been there done that, my VE on stock cams was a lil bit slower than my B13 T25 basic setup, after N1 cams the things change... I never raised the boost though

Yesterday I was able to hit 13.9 @ 103 MPH on the Very Very Loud
