sr20ve issue idle?
So having a weird idle issue last few days. When car is cold, and get a mile down the road, stop at the stopsign and the car dies....Then sounds like she wants to die a few more times as i stop. And notice a lot more of fluctuating idle. Im wondering dizzy or tps? What u guys think? My distributor is a bit of a frankenstein, i hada major issue running those vision red wires compared to my ngks with idle issues...So wondering if my dizzy could be going out or what. If not one thing its another man.

I got lowport distros if you need.

I'd say it sounds like the idle air control valve needs cleaning or replacement. Does it stop stalling once its warm?

If it gets really bad it will try to stall when you first start it up.

I have the same problem... I didn't have the IACV connected on the VE, I swapped the DE IACV in and am still having fluctuating idle... My dizzy is WAY off though, the only way I could get it to run is to mismatch the cylinders to the cap, last time I checked the CEL i was getting crank position sensor? Would the timing being way off cause the idle to be erratic?

does the idle hang if you give it a rev?

If I rev a little bit you can see and hear the rpm's fluctuate still just not as bad

Check a fuses below ur dash. I think it's the electronics(b) fuse. That's where your idle control Valve is fused. I learned the hard way i removed it to get rid
Of the buzzer and actually got rid of the buzzer and killed my idle. And I was having the same issues as you. Put the fuse back on and idle worked flawlessly
