I have a hard time believing that as Miko is a dealer for JWT and has been trying to convince them to make a VE cam for the longest time now with no luck at all. Cant remember what he said the reason why they wouldnt do it. If I recall it was something to do with the price of the cam blanks from Nissan being too expensive and would have made the price of the cams too high, enough to possibly hurt sales on them.
Maybe Andreas can chime in on that one.
JWT definitely has cam knowledge down to a T though. I wouldnt have a doubt that they could develope a serious street cam and race cam that would put the Kelfords to shame.

while i wouldnt go that far ashton, i do agree jwt knows what they are doing.
cant take anything away from kelford, they make the best ve cam out right now, along with top notch cams for many other makes, like k series cams, evo cams etc.
you hit the nail on the head about the blanks cost. part of the reason kelfords are so expensive. JWT wont do it because they think the fwd market left years ago and they are probably right in terms of true R&D cost VS profit.
Kelford makes many cams for many makes however their basicly the only aftermarket cam for VE's. Franklins proved to be a waste as they basicly just copied the n1's at best.
Kelfords being overseas doesnt help the cost either. Hell even if JWT can come out with a couple different sets one for street use and one for a full on race setup. Well I dont think they thought the VE would take off as big as it did. Now almost everyone has a VE. Finding a car without one is becoming more rare than one with a VE.
Which is a good thing because it shows the market is there for it. Both in the fwd and rwd scene. That and the fact that the VE's are still soo inexpensive is a good thing as well.

Let me say my piece on JWT, they have quite a bit of knowledge about these cars and motors. However it has been a long time since they have done anything SR related that really pushed the envelope. They really have awesome cam options for the SR20DE and the JWT PP is great too.
When I called them about getting some items that would help to 200HP DE, they told me it was impossible. I laughed a bit and didn't call back.
