Yup, i told my dad as he and I were on the first drive... i said it is more peppier lol he was like is that even a word... but yea, mounts should be here today, and then to hook up vvl... and it shall be finished

Congrats on the VE. You'll love it. I've been helping a friend tinker on the VE in his Classic lately. I love the way it feels and sounds! We just got done putting a custom mandrel 2.5" (or 2.75"?) exhaust on it last weekend with a magnaflow resonator and muffler. This thing sounds so good its scary. I have never heard another 4cyl car sound as smooth and deep as it does.

I am getting on it this morning running around town before heading to work and it sounds like a good V6... infact when i get up to the higher RPMs it keeps the same tone... in the DE that was in it before, after 4k it sounded like a honduh with a fart can.. all raspy and shit...

Once you hear VVL kick in it will sound Honda like again. I didn't think so until I mounted a GoPro on the back of my car.

i'm sure so i might raise the vvl engage rpm higher just so i dont lol heck you cant even hear the car going by other cars... but it sure is load in the cabin of the car...

It will sound like a Honda if you don't have a nice exhaust. With a quality exhaust it will sound so smooth, and with no rasp. Sure the POP of the VVL is like a Honda, only in that it gets louder, with the difference being it doesn't sound like Here you can hear the VTEC switch at about :08s.

Impul headers, stock cat, 3" mandrel back stainless and a magnaflow muffler... its going to be loud and raspy
