True, thats how I destroyed my VE, lol.

No limiter, no lift shift miss 2nd gear racing a 06 Mustang GT, 12k+rpm, motor didnt like that soo much. I got away with it a couple times but not that time. Burned that gt out of the hole though, it was a perfect launch, by the time went to hit 2nd I was already a car and a half out on him.

well my plan is to meet up with nissan_crazy and spend a day on the dyno an tune the car when im turbo, so hopefully it will be as expected..

the na game is a tuff game to play, if everythings not perfect you just dont get the power.

the reason why your times suffered, after 8k there is no tune on the timing or fuel. The power just drops off a cliff. The program you where using only has timing and fuel up too 8k after that you are just killing the motor.tunercode gives you tunability up too 12500rpms.

then why does everyone else who doesn't have tuner code pull better times? that doesn't make sense.. the afr's were still in the 13.0 range.

Yeah doesnt make complete sense, Peters n1 cam, n1 intake manifold, i/h/e/pullies, flywheel, calum realtime only able to tune to 8k still made 200+whp and pulled like a raped ape all the way to 9k, a/f staying 12.8-12.9:1

That car ran hard and was beating my buddies t25 turbo nx2k on 10psi, lol

I agree while its not the best method, all it does is take your numbers from the last boxes it could read and averages them out. Still much better to be able to tune past 8k no doubt. Not arguing that fact. But I dont think that was lynches problem as I did not have that same problem tuning my buddies car.

not to mention it only made 180whp on the dyno an we only took it to 8k

all the online 1/4m calculators also came to the 180whp conclusion.

Pretty much what he is saying is that there was no reason revving up to 8500 when there was not tune there.

lol that does not explain the low mph still morgan OR the low whp.

but ya i know tracks are different an weather an shit also..

for the record. shifting at 8k made me run half a second slower and 4-5mph slower.
