I did have a few issues tho, like I needed to replace my cap an rotor bad, also my dist maybe weak. I believe my ssac is holding me back, the primary to secondary ports didn't match up all that well. Anyways not tryin to make excuses it's just kinda sad that's all it could muster.

The engines healthy as can be, it has 230psi on all 4 cylinders and was clean an shiny as hell on the inside when I got it. It never swallowed any tb screws either lol

Yep, something is either wrong with your tune or motor is tired or something. Trap speeds are definitely not there. in 03 04 my full bolt on jdm de with i/h/e/pullies/flywheel/s3 cams/stock ecu with timing at 19* on street tires was running 14.3-14.4@96-97mph consistent in my full weight 91 se-r with abs/sunroof/full interior 2.1 60fts A VE on stock cams in a full weight b13 should be able to top that very easily.

I dont know why your running so slow lynch but most peoples ve's are in the 13's on street tires and trapping at the very least 100-101mph, n1 cams you should be in the 102-104mph range with a good tune.

I drove the hell out of my old de se-r back then, no lift shifts every gear, couldnt even tell it was a manual on the 1-2 shift. When you literally go every weekend and run 10-15 times you tend to get really good at drag racing. Had about 600 drag passes on that de motor and same 285k mile original trans. Never had problems with either before I sold the car.

well, lets hope she does ok with the turbo i really dont think theres anything wrong with my engine, if i did i wouldn't be turboing it.. but if it doesn't work out right i'll swap motors with my girlfriend..

LOL, more than likely an improper tune and maybe some driver mods, rev those gears out and slam em hard.

It was fun when I was n/a back then cuz I could slam gears all I wanted and didnt have to worry about the trans breaking on me. Turbo was a whole new approach. Much more cautious on the shifts especially on street tires where there is no give. You tend to become a rev matching pro after a while.

lol watch my vids, my most recent was with some nitto's, just search sr20ve pir on youtube.

things i know i need to work on are preloading and shifting faster..

Yeah, no lift shifting at those times will get you .2 to .3 seconds in the 1/4 pretty easy

i was always paranoid because i use nistune an cant set a limiter past 8k an i was revving to about 8500 already an didnt wanna risk blowing my shit up lol.. with the turbo i wont be revving that high so maybe i'll feel a little safer doing it.
