I don't think you will gain much from running e85 on stock compression.... Not sure if anyone has really played around with it though. There is only so much timing you can add before you stop making power. What is the reason you want to run e85 and bigger injectors? The 2 go hand and hand of course but I hope you don't think you are going to gain much if any power on a stock block. No need to waste money, run 93 if it is available. You would be better off putting some money that you were going to put into crank & injectors into a better header since that and tuning make the biggest gains once you have N1's of Kelfords.

@B15NEOVVL, cory,
Thanks. Ok I can run over 8000U/min with the stock ve crankshaft.

@Vadim
Why I cant use lightwight pulleys?

@niZmo
I have a 2.5" stainless steel header with downpipe, 200 cellen racing cat, 2.5" midpipe and a invidia n1 muffler.

e85 is much sheaper that the premium fuel in germany. And I hear that I can win a couple of hp with e85. Bigger injectors are not always better for a tuned engine?

Can anyone send me a best part list for ve tuning?

There is no universal mod list for tuning engine... every engine is different and it depends on your goals.

E85 is cheaper, but you need around 30% more of E85 over regular fuel. Its price will be almost same at the end.

What ECU do you use?

Also I rev to 8500 rpm quite often on 4cw crank and N1 cams. Though it does start sounding a little odd at 8300rpm or so.

you removed all the lightweight pulleys or just the crank pulley?

Well if you are using E85 because of price and availability, like Jagy said, you will have to use more fuel to make the power so bigger injectors and a fuel pump would be a must do. I would look for s15 injectors just to be safe on the fuel side. While 370s are cheaper and more common, the 480cc s15 injectors should give you more room for the ethanol and are a bolt it affair.

Whether or not an un-dampend crank pulley on a ve will do harm is a debatable topic, search for crank pulley threads on the ve. Many prefer the stock pulley with damper because of the 4cw crank. I don't see an issue with the G-spec pulley myself for normal street use but if you plan on keeping the revs high you may not want to run it. I would run a light weight flywheel and stock or ati damper on the ve. You can use the other pulleys if you can find them but they don't make that much of a difference. The water pump pulley is a good idea to prevent cavitation at higher rpms.

You will get to a point where your header and your exhaust will be your bottle neck for you, but not until around 200whp. You may want to think of investing in a better header and getting re-tuned later on. It will also change the powerband a little bit for the better if it is a good piece.

No need, stock one is more then good for it.

This, I was running, without knock, up to 35* of timing up top on N1 cams. I could probably run even 37* but there is no point if you are not making any more power. Getting more air in would be more beneficial then being able to run more timing in this case.

Stock crank pulley works like a damper/harmonic balancer. If you go light weight you loose the damping and harmonic balancing ability.

I only had the Crank and WP GSpec pulleys. Removed the Crank only, so the only under-driving pulley is the water pump one, which is very useful.

It will very different for every car, but for me personally on 20VE cams, reving to 7300 rpm was pointless because of weird vibrations/noise and some power loss. That day I installed the regular stock pulley, went for a drive and hit 7500 rpm without noticing.

I did logs for both runs and as per virtual dyno I actually gained a few ponies with stock pulley.

The 370cc at 4 bar will be fine. Should be enough fuel for what your looking for. The s15s would be nice but they are a bit harder to find.
