These are Circuit Sports gears installed 3 months. inspected last week and no sign of wear.



The motor has seen 8800rpm daily. i have raced numerous times on it and flog it on the highway a lot.

I used Loctite on the screws.

what kind of oil do you use nizmo? seems like alot of varnish in your head..

SR20ve oil pump

the motor has looked like that from ever since i got it from the used parts shop

i have the same issue on my engine that looks like smoked inside. i have heard of using ATF mixed with engine oil 1 atf+3 engine and cleans all of that but i need more feedback on these before trying it

Since you got a new pump did you have to deck the block flush with the pump/ front cover?

why would he the block didnt change and the pump is oem replacement

dont know what you mean...?? since is my first time dealing with an sr20 but everything went in straight forward any mod done so far, just the chain oiler before mentioned nothing else

I've done it, old timers (my dad a mech.) taught me that but I would just do more back to back oil changes. It'll clean in time.

OK the car started oil psi perfect, and any engine noise but... having an issue the car is acting weird, i was trying to calibrate the TPS with the reading from the APEX VAFC and was reading .10v even moving it or pushing pedal. Ok the car starts but after a few seconds it shuts off, so i started with the self diagnosis of ECU...

Getting 3 codes:

11-Crank Angle Sensor/Camshaft Position Sensor.
12- Air Flow Meter/Mass Air Flow Sensor.
21- Ignition Signal.

any of those where bad before the car was stopped because the chain thing... also noticed something weird on the ECU, when i removed the plug of the ECU and looked at the pins, i noticed that the 3rd bottom right pin is not there is a white wire, and looking at a diagram found on the old forum says is for "pin 46- ECU MAIN POWER SOURCE (MAIN FUSE)" so i think the main problem is this!

Am i correct??
