All VEs I have done with JWT intake, 95 Maxima MAF, JWT ECU, header and 3inch exhaust make 179-183 WHP.

Add some N1 cams to the mix and you get 196-201 WHP.

Any motor that I have had that has made more than that made 205-212 had some trick 4 into 1 header and or aftermarket intake manifold.

the ironic thing is finally people are starting to do very simple reliable set ups with great gains in hp.

simple pistons are putting people in the 230whp range with oem cams and intake manis.

add in some other nice bits and pieces and the ve is a whole nother animal.

i think were gonna see some really nice budget minded dead solid reliable set ups coming out this spring.

It's also just hard to believe that Nissan wouldn't do anything to the motor over the years, though production for standard SR20VE's was not very long. But as we see in changes between High ports, then to low ports, etc. Nissan just loves to continue improving on the motor designs after they are released.

This is why I think there are so many rumors about different SR20VE's.
