Motor stumbles
Hey guys just wondering I notice when I shut
My motor off, It stumbles a bit before it shuts off,my buddies car just cuts off completely that's why I ask and in my opinion it just doesn't feel right.

my gf's ve does that if i dont let the idle drop all the way before shutting it off..

Most engines do that if you dont let them come back down to idle before shutting it off.
I see/feel it all the time, working as a valet.

yea her idle drops a little slower then mine, as soon as i let off the throttle mine climbs down quick hers kinda lingers an takes its time sometimes.

Mine does it all the time, it sounds lime it has a hard time shutting off,like if so
Something isn't getting cut off completely idk, like I said my buddies cars just shut off with no problem just like any other car would there must be something to it.

i would check the timing and fuel injector seals maybe..

on my gf's car i've set the timing an idle an its all good, i've only noticed it when i've shut the car off to quick after coming to a stop..

You know now that you mention it my idle does take little longer to come down compared to my buddies I'll keep an eye on it thanks.

i had the prob a while back, it stumbles randomly then it started to shut out randomly then starts randomly, after a week of after work troubleshooting it ended up being the distributor, just pop open the distributor cap and see is everything inside is fine, wont take more than 20mins, wont hurt either.

Think it could be your clutch? I know from a couple cars if you turned them off with the clutch pedal out it would sound funny. If you held the clutch in then it wouldn't make the noise. Just a thought.
