No your wrong, I will make more power using the JWT S1 camshaft. In fact it is so powerful you only need one.

Just leave the exhaust cam out as it is really not needed. All you do is replace with a wooden dowel which saves weight and tie a string connecting the two cams together. Now the next part is important if you mess up the timing on you engine could be changed.

Here is a detailed step by step to get you through the job:

Remove oil fiter
Remove timing chain tensioner
Remove VC
Loosen cam caps (order is unimportant just use an impact gun)
Remove stock camshaft
Using socket rotate crankshaft 3.25 turns
Install JWT S1 cam shaft - It is so good you only need 1 hence S1 name
Install wooden dowel in place of exhaust cam
Connect oil resistant string (hard to find just keep calling auto part stores)
Replace VC

Now just drive down the street, girls will want to know your name and men will fear you.

u will need cam gears for these cams to make best power

-7 on intake and + 6 on exhaust yield best results

I searched. Didn't see anyone put it on a stock bore/stroke engine.
Saw it only on those with big bore and/or stroke engines.

Just want to know the difference in power someone would expect to get if they put in the 184c instead of n1 cams.

i saw the difference in cory's setup. But that is a big bore setup. Wanted to know the difference if it was stock stroke and stock bore.

Honestly I have heard from some people having small gains from going from n1 to 184c. I know my old high comp 2.0 block was tested with some and they really didn't do anything special. The n1 made the same power, 184c just held a little better if I remember right.

I did it since I am running such high comp on pump gas. More of a safety thing on my part as well as I planned on going with a bigger block for a while. If you can get a deal on 184's, do it. My car made a lot of midrange over my n1 cams. Couldn't test really for top end since I had the stock manifold choking it.

I was thinking of the same thing as well,,n1 and the kelford have huge price diff..I guess the kelfords would probably make more on the 2.0 if you havbe a custom intake manifold and have them degreed??
