Advice Needed
Whats up guys, now that I am finishing my finals up I am looking at finally giving my B15 some much needed attention. I have piled up parts over the past few months, and would like to get most of it installed this coming weekend. Here is a list of what I will be putting in the car followed by a few questions I am hoping some more knowledgeable heads will give some input on...
Parts
-B14 engine harness
-B14 Calum Realtime V2
-N1 Cams
-CS adjustable cam gears
-Finish wiring my prosport gauges (fuel press, water temp, oil press)
-Walbro 255
My main questions are as follows:
-Should I initially set the gears straight up at 0,0 until after I get the base tune down with the Calum/wideband/dyno?
I have heard 5,5 yields great results but would prefer to only do this once or as few times as possible. Based on what I've read, it seems like every motor is different and will react different to certain settings. This is on a stock ve with i/h/e. I have not decided on upgrading the springs/retainers yet.
-The realtime I acquired came from a ve'd b14. Should I just modify that bin to work with my n60 maf and fuel setup or start with say a base calum ve bin?
-I will read more on the engine harness swap as well, but is there any key points I need to be well aware of before yanking the b15 harness out and putting the B14 in?
-I am still on the stock 259cc rr injs. I have already installed a nismo fpr. These should be fine at 4 bar I am assuming? I have some 370's around somewhere, but have no clue where they are honestly.
Should be it for now. I just want everything to go smoothly and to have it back on the road asap as I am still looking to daily the car. Thanks for any and all input!
