Thread: Weird Grind Marks on SR20VE Head

Hey Guys I found some weird marks on the aluminum. Just wanted to know if any others have seen these marks on their VEs. I wonder if the marks are signs of damage or just marks from casting at the factory. Let me know if your SR20VEs come like this.

Im pretty sure ive seen marks like that on not only the ve head but de heads as well. I think they are just to remove any casing imperfections or pieces sticking out that could break off. They are kinda random for the most part.

my guess is someone before u cleaned up the extra casting debris with a rotary tool
