Thread: Idle issue

Alright my car has been starting fine for months and now its just cranks wheb it does finally turn over it idles high for a few seconds then dies it deff idles as if it has a missfire checked timing i know fuel is gettinf to the rail checked fuses fuel pump is working need a little help with this the car was fine 2 days ago i havent driven it in over a month it just sits

first thing id check is the tps then the iac.

Yea the car hasnt given me any problem the only thing when u first start it it would idle high for a minute then drop down to about 850-900 rpm

Ok i finally got some time with the car i pulled the fuel rail off before i would get a fuel mist from the injector now i get nothing at all i pulled the fuel line off and no pressure but i do hear the fuel pump prime it a o44 pump so idk if the line is clogged or what but i dont really hear of these pumps just giving out

Did you get a mist from the injectors with just the key on or did you crank the motor?
If I was spaying without cranking that's NOT good. Check your plugs, clean them up or replace them. Check maf sensor, wiring harness grounds etc..

If you hear the pump turn on and have pressure at the gauge there should be fuel at the injectors.

I did get a mist before when cranking now i get nothing

You check grounds, fuses, distributor, ecu plug?

Did you check if the inj is clicking?

Can you do me a favor and throw a period on a sentence now and then?
