finally got my custom TRI Y headers.....had clearance issues at first,it was 3 days (and nights) in the making

its not as pretty as aftermarket ones that you have there...still needs buffing
but i have used stainless steel with ss elbows, i dont have access to collectors so he just made fabricated

equal primaries 1.7inches stepped to 2inch 2-1 collectors, then mated to a 2.5 inch flexipipe (got it from the SSAC) and a 2.5 inch outlet going to a 3 inch pipe

had to modify the second runner as it is too low

initial driving impressions tri Y vs SSAC

low end torque increased again, lost some with the ssac
mid might be the same
at high rpms the G's can be felt on the tri Y compared to the SSAC

I bet ground clearance is going to be a pita. And those angles are pretty steep, but hopefully it works out alright.

that header is pretty low. I thought my aebs header hung kinda low so I had a skidplate welded on.You are just gonna have to drive carefully over potholes, speedbumps, etc.

yeah it is really low, sometimes i have to go sideways on really big speedbumps..

it feels stronger all the way than the SSAC, do you thinki the angles affects the flow that much?

yeah its pretty low, good thing i have coilovers so suspension is stiff enough to prevent bottom out....

If ony i have access to 2-1 collectors it would have been better.
well see how it goes on the dyno...
