Well I have mine right on the coil and it opens up at 5400 and pulls like a healthy VE should. Hits hard.

i've been using the granatelli window switch since 09' no issues ever, since the problem occurred monday i changed it to another unit problem still there, changed the relays changed the solenoids issue still there, dont know what else to check

^I'm using a MSD8969 and it works great. Very easy to use as well.

initially the rpm signal was taken from the distributor and it was breaking up so i took it from the injector signal

ok last night i went out with a friend with a volt meter, the solenoids both share the same live(12v) signal, to give the base of the story, the motor was rebuilt and the shop couldn't find my solenoids so i'm using 2 of the same solenoids, so the wire is spliced so that any plug fits any solenoid, any ways from reading the voltage (through the relay inside the car ) output one solenoid stays open straight through to rev cut. 13+ volts, the other solenoid does the same thing up to 50% pedal effort, going any further into the pedal the voltage drops to 7-9v the deeper i go the lower the voltage, switched the plug on for the solenoids and the problem stayed the same for that particular relay,

so now i'm asking given the fact the share the same 12v source what would cause one to stay up and the other to drop off under load
