SR20VE+T dyno
Hi All,

dynoed one more build yesterday.

Avenir sr20det bottom, notched det pistons, sr20ve head, msd 50lb (525cc) inj., e60 maf, stock VE intake, stock det exhaust manifold, gt2871r turbo, big intercooler.

I don't know the exact intake pressure, the gauge shows 10psi, but I don't really trust it.

What's the AR on your turbo .62 or .86? Kind of a big turbo for such little boost, do you plan on upping it and buying bigger injectors?

Very nice numbers for such low boost, thats what im looking for. Same setup I will be going with but different injectors and maf. Good job, bud!

You guys think a GT28rs would be a good choice? I'd rather have fast spool and sustainable power then big numbers.

i went with the 2871r to be sure it would breath up high

The 71r really doesnt take all that long to spool up. I have one on my rr sr and its a wicked fun turbo, plus with the ve it should spool even better because of the cam switch over.

OK 337 Crank HP is what is on the graph above.

Generally FWD SR20s lose 9% hp from Crank to WHP.

That would be 306 WHP at 10PSI. Which is on par with most 2871R turbo setups I have seen,

I have seen a few SR20DETs and SR20VE-Ts make 350-370 WHP @ 15 PSI and 400-430 WHP at 20 PSI.

If any on gets a 2871r make sure it has a .86 turbine housing.
