So I've pretty much decided what parts to throw into this build.

The head will be ordered from Mazworx with all the goodies such as oversized valves, Kelfords, Supertech S/R and whatnot. There will be some machining involved as well

Now, pistons will be 14:1 92mm - connected to Manley H-beam rods. I will look into getting the 4CW crank knife-edged and polished. I will then get a machine shop to balance the complete rotating assembly, including flywheel.

I'm also in the market for a new standalone unit, capable of running both sequential injection and direct fire ignition with 20V CAS.

Exhaust header is yet to be decided.

So, what can I do to make more power on stock stroke and E85? I'm out of ideas

i'm not let the motor breath with a custom intake manifold since your dumping big money into this

Well, I'm using the stock lower section with a bigger plenum and Q45 throttle. But this could easily be changed out later.

Sounds like a good plan. Just don't skimp on the header. Id say order a collector from burns, have them spec out the rest of the header for you and have someone locally build it. 14:1 is going to be tough to attain on stock stroke, like I said I think cp can only get you in the 13.5 range. Unless youclay the motor and specify some shallower valve reliefs.

Looking forward to seeing these dyno sheets!

Thank you for your input, cory.

I'll ask mazworx if they can help me out with the pistons.

As for the header I was thinking of ordering all the parts needed and dot weld it, getting a welder to finnish it up with a TIG. I am, however, unsure about the lenghts and size of the piping. I guess it could be cheaper (in the end) to get it designed and made by someone who knows what they are doing.

yeah that's why burnsstainless will run your exact set up to the t through their calculator and come up with a design, that will be very close to perfect for your motor. But they won't do it for free, if you order a collector from them then they will run it and spec out al the parts w collector for you.. 300 for a stainless collector if I remember right. But I think its well worth it since you get the specs..

I forget the exact specs of my header, but I think Cory knows them. I'm still set on sticking with the 4-2-1 design I have, I just need an intake manifold to compliment it with the N1's.
