Thread: change my 20ve to 20v... pls help

feels like my 20ve pulls harder than my 20v

my set up on my 20ve
fuji header
2.5 pipe
16 inches reso
n1 cams
rechipped ecu
8.8 lbs f.wheel
act clutch
16ve tranny

my 20v setup
20v head and block
ve injectors
ve intake mani
ve throttle
fuji header
16 inches reso
2.5 pipe
rechipped ecu
8.8 lbs f.wheel

havent install the n1 on the 20v motor,
im thinkin if i put the n1 in the 20v motor
my 20ve setup will still pull harder
do i need the n1 throttle body for it to pull harder?

Well the 20v cam has better low end a not so hot top end so I'm sure that's why it feels slower. I think if both motors had the same mods its not like the 20v is going to make a ton more power.

yeah you can test it out once you get the n1 cams in. Other than that the 20v is only slightly higher compression and a very slightly better flowing head. With the n1's in there you should feel a very very slight increase in power.
