Thread: ve not startin, clogged injectors?

ok, yesterday was the day for my initial start up of my ve swap into my 200sx, its getting spark,getting fuel. has anyone had issues with clogged injectors? who knows how long this motor was sitting, i'm getting them cleaned today and hopefully will try and start it back up today. any other ideas why it would start? i have looked at other posts but i think i got everything covered, ur thoughts? thanks

usually not but you never know. How have you confirmed its getting fuel and spark? Did you see if the injectors were spraying?

Did you check your fuel lines?

yes def getting fuel and spark. i will find out today if the injectors were spraying. and yes fuel line checked.

Do you have them hooked up to the right areas. Feed line leading to the left-side/passenger side of the rail and return off the right-side. If you have them backwards you wont be getting fuel to the injectors themselves.

Make sure fuel line are not on wrong.

yes, but one of the connections if you follows to the left side of the rail in a metal tube while the other comes out of the fuel pressure regulator. Out of the regulator is the return. So the other one will be from your fuel filter

Then check if you have if you have 12v at the injector clips, if not then you need to trace that down. The engine control fuse in the dash sends power to the injectors. Make sure that is good to go.
