clutch fail 94 4dr ve
so i jumped in the car today to head to work and without warning the clutch fails. It has no tension on it and does not disengage when pressed; however the cable isn't broken. I am about to go drop the trans right now any ideas guys.

how sure are you the cable isnt broken? it Could be hanging on my a few strands.. seen it many Many times.. take the cable completely out and inspect it. also play around with the clutch lever that right there should tell you if anythings wrong..

The reason i dont think the cable is broken is because it moves the lever but the tranny is still engaged. I will however double check

but i wonder if it moves the lever enough?

i've seen broken cables where only a few strands are left an it seems like the lever moves but it doesn't move enough..

its worth taking the cable out and inspecting it and also move the lever back an fourth by hand there should only be a little play..
