Thread: sr20ve and e85

is anybody running or is it possible to run e85 on your sr20ve? if so hp gain? thoughts, opinions and facts. thanks

i do it, my boy does it.

E85 may only have minor gains on NA applications, but many more guys are using it with FI with good results. Cheapest race gas available, and you can get it at many pumps. But it does stress the fuel system a lot more, so prepare for that. Expect to use 30% more fuel for the amount of power you are looking to make.

It can have more then minor gains depends on your compression.

Best mod i did to my setup. I just got some yesterday for 3.09 a gallon. I'm not sure about N/A but it makes a difference with my turbo setup. When i first did it i made an extra 40whp at the same boost and that was without fine tuning. Like Stratton said, i'm sure on a high comp. motor you would see good gains.
