First they were at +3,0 and then switch int to +5,0 gain like one hp. Then +5,-5 still same power so it didnt seem to make a difference. My header was spec similar to cory maybe a few inches longer. 12in first step 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 for 12in and 2.25 choke.

Well it was just a guess no offense, like I was saying to Strat I think we need to start doing things a little more organized. NOBODY TAKE THIS PERSONAL ITS JUST MY $0.02.

We are too scattered in the NA game as we can see what works on one car does not work on the other we need to start using parts thats readily available instead of making custom stuff. Ill give example

Cory so far is the only member that made custom parts so far and it works
he has the times to prove it.
The guys who are in the bushes we know because of the things you do you want to keep it a secret.
The only other crew doing anything is the PR guys with all of the shelf readily available stuff, Payu's boy Manuel whos using sr16 pistons with a xcessive plenum and some dam honda cheap ass headers with times to prove it.

Im not offend. I get what you are saying and yes I know what works on one may not work on another too. But you say we need to have parts readily available and not custom so kinda like off the self parts but like you said if its the same part it may not work the same for everyone and you just said that.

I know but I dont consider the tri-y or the xcessive IM to be custom, you can get 1 by monday and it would make a better starting point for going bigger.

1-Tri-y worked for high reving Honda engine for years even some btcc headers are tri-y, the PR crew proves it works.
2-xcessive is available from themselves or Gregv

LIKE I SAID THIS IS JUST MY $0.02.

I would have gotten at least a stage 1 port/polish job.

What size choke?

So what do you consider stage 1? I've seen stock head make decent power. So is it a possibility I migjt have a bad head cast? Two motor I had before made less than expected hp and this is the third head im using so all 3 head I have cant all be bad right.

I made an edit to my post after I read the whole thread, but N/A it seems that port and polish is a must for big bore. I guess a stage one would be something around the $500-$600 range for a port and polish job just to clean things up a bit. I know you can make more power with this setup though.

I figured he should have made 220 easy on n1 and stock manifold. I know mine made almost 10whp on a 2.0 so I figured between the kelfotds and my manifold he should had no issue hitting 230s.

Considering the fact that my motor was larger but I made 260 on same set up and n1s then 270 w kelfords. The head and bring only 90 definitely come into play but I did not think it would be this low.

..not to mention the fact that with that manifold and header I made more on a 2.0 with n1 and stock head. Just seems wrong that. 2 liters did hardly anything...
