Thread: ve and how to wire up the iacv

so with the sr20ve, how can you can you get the idle air control valve to wire up, the harness im using is from a 96 sr20de. I was told the gold hexagonal piece can be removed, so i can take that piece off and put it on the iacv from ve so plugs match up to the harness, is this true or....what do i have to do? from what i remember gold circular piece with the green label on it plugs in, but the hexagonal piece with the purple plug does not.
