Thread: hypertune ve inlet manifold

My mate is a fabricator over at Hypertune and he sent me this today so i thought i would share it

Hypertune has now released their billet intake manifold for the SR20ve

as far as i know they are only making them for rear wheel drives

its a 3 piece inlet manifold which unbolts for servicing

flange
runners
plenum camber

looks good!, though we need one for FWDs....

It looks like the runners are held in by bolts, if so, flip it and make it FWD?

NVM, says it in the thread. Yeah, just flip it then.

Any pics inside the Plenum?

^Can he make this with the runners/trumpets extending into the plenum?

the rwd guys have it easy. we'd need to know the longest distance from the head flange to the (back side) of the plenum, to clear the firewall.

It looks very close to mine.

Very similiar to the greddy design.

I have a complaint:

The runners aren't large enough for me to stuff my DIACK in each one! That thing is sexy

This is what why the runners need to extrude through the plenum for the FWD guys with a mated set of trumpets based on the setup for best results. I'll have something to post after the first of the year.
