Idle issues after going to the dragstrip
Here's the story, went to the strip and ran pretty good so went to sleep

Left the car at my house and didn't mess with it until yesterday, tried to start it and died inmediately, tried again and this time I stepped on the gas and started ok, as soon I release the gas the car dies.

Once the car is warmed up it may feel a lil bit low idle but it won't die on its face.

Tried opening a lil bit the IACV but it didn't help at the cold start, also when I turn the steering the idle goes down, a couple of days ago the IACV did its job adding some air whenever I turned the steering.

Switched to my previous set of chips and the issue remains, I don't think is a matter of tune.

What should I do?

Thnx

good. that was my first symptoms. when mine came out. do a comp test. you just went to the trak after running lean for a long time, per ur other thread. you may have lost some compression. that happened to me on my turbo car. Car ran great for a while went to the track and melted the side of the piston. didn't know it was running so lean.

I would but I don't think it lost compression

I ran lean for 6 months but never actually ran the car, was always below 4000RPM because I was waiting to get tuned and part throttle AFRs were flawless.

Check the connection from the intake (1/2 - 5/8" rubber hose) to the IACV, mine was loose and was giving me the same issues. Good Luck!!

Electrical connections are ok

The supply hose is aswell

Took the IACV and cleaned out, didn't look that dirty

I'm gonna check thru Datascan the IACV and the volts at the connectors
