This. Lower octane burns easier then higher octane. I'm tempted to run 87 in my VE, but I'm going to be going back to turbo soon enough thus it's not worth adding 87 to the tank that has only seen 93 for the last year.

Octane boosters are useless, read the label, it barely raises the octane.
