Thread: VE's mpg...what are you getting?

I used to get 25-28 city and 33-36 hwy depending on speed traffic and all that.

I got about 29mpg-32mpg around town. stock trans. after the sr16 trans I got 27.

I took the time to convert, since I usually use liters/100 km.

I get about 28 mpg (half city, half highway) during winter. This goes up to 31-32 during the summer. When running track events, this will go down to about 12-15 (depending on the track).

Note that it was cheaper to run at the track with the SR20DE because of the smaller injectors, stock cams and lower redline, but more expensive daily driving.

That's with the B15 tranny and a B14 JWT ECU w/VE MAF and VE injectors.

i just moved from miami to houston and got between 35 to 37 mpg on the highway ... havent really tried figuring it out on the street ... havent drivin it much here cause i got my moms TL to drive lol

back when i had mild bolt ons, i was getting about 26mpg city and around 32 highway...but thats driving like a normal person

just drove 350 miles until light gas light came on, this includes an AutoX, journey to/from AutoX, hard city driving w/ traffic. I was really suprised with the numbers

a good set of wheel bearings will do the trick

Woot woot I can actually post here now. I drove my hacked together VE E model and averaged about 28mpg freeway and 26mpg mixed.

On my way out to the Jersey Convention, I was getting upper 30s and at one tank I did 39 mpg.
