Thread: Hot shot headers?

so yesterday while i was bored out of my mind at work i was browsing through craigslist and decided to check san diego it's far and all maybe i find a good deal on a b14... and i see 200sx headers and i click the link and it says "i just recently bought a 200sx se-r previous owner gave me these hot shot headers i dont plan on using if you can use them they're yours..." so i went and picked them cost me 40 bucks in gas theyre black 4-2-1 and they have hotshot imprinted on the flange? any good? they are super clean look new i mean free can't beat that

they are getting hard to find i can tell u that. they are decent . and forr free u cant beat that

Check the collector on that header they like to crack around there. I had a set for my SE-R back in the day and the car ran like a beast with them till it cracked lol. Couldn't figure out why I went from 14.8's to 15.8's one day at the track lol.

crack @ the (2-3 Y) is also common.
most of us ran the hotshot header back in the day because it was arguably the best 4-2-1 off the shelf you could buy. i've owned the gen3 and gen5. the ssac is basically an upgraded hs in stainless steel for 1/4 the cost of the original. the Chinese led to the demise of Hotshot.

It wasn't the Chinese that led the demise of Hotshots. It was the consumer who led the charge.

were can i get a ssac header i have a hotshot prototype header from back in the day but it has a crack on the 2-3 y. every where i read i see check ebay but i can't find anything on there
