looks like it's the maf only 1.0 to .26! when it starts running rich.

Key on and not running it should read about 0.8v from memory, if its a lot different from that, then the MAF might be bad. However ... if its OK, read on...

If its dipping as low as 0.26 though that doesn't sound right. When mine would go lumpy and rich it would dip down to 0.900v at like 9:1AFR before it was just about to stall, but its the process of actually dipping down to below that 1.000volt mark that makes the problem and causes the voltage to go really low.

The Fix:

Get a hex editor, load your bin, navigate to 0x0A22 and change the value from 00C8 to 00B4 and see how you go. That will lower the threshold to 0.900volts before the low voltage enrichment will start (and that fixed my problem). Hoping that you have a chip burner and can do that mod though. If not, post the BIN i can mod it and you can get it burned.

If the current value at that address isn't 00C8, then don't change it because it may be different depending on your ECU (that address is for N14 Pulsar / B13 w/32K bin).

Hope that helps you out, please report back if it fixes it.

http://forum.nistune.com/download/file.php?id=1106

this is the bin i'm running.
I have some chips but no way to burn. i appreciate if you take a look.

I'ma check again today. Cause i think it was more like .96 i had a bad connection at a couple points when i was checking. so that is prolly why it went that low. cause it doesn't try to stall or anything.

I was thinking of trying to clean the maf to see if that helps.
EDIT: rechecked when it's doing the rich dance and it varying .6-.9v.

key on engine off it only reads .2v. When running not rich at idle 1.0.

I'll double check my key on, engine off reading today when i leave for work to make sure i said the right value.

I checked the file that you linked to, the address is correct to fix the issue but if you have no way to burn the new file then you're kinda stuck anyways.

updated post. if the bin is correct i don't need to reburn then cause that's what i'm running allready.

And the 94 max fsm says below 1v key on engine off is the spec. not a specific number, just under 1.0v's.

Ok just checked my maf it's 0.2v too so that's ok. I must have bern thinking of the stock one.

The BIN still needs to be modified and reburned to remove the low afm enrichment value or this problem will persist.

When I said the bin is correct I meant it could be modified/fixed.

Sorry I can't help you, but what o2 sensor are you talking about, I've never heard of this. Thanks!

can you modify the bin and post it? please. maybe i can get someone else to burn it for me.

if the maf was in better shape it wouldn't do though right?

all the info you need, basically with a stainless header you need this o2 sensor for everything to work as it should.
